Our Pirate and Fishing Room details the history of Peter Easton and mercantilism in Harbour Grace and Conception Bay. You’ll find storyboards relating Easton’s nefarious excursions; a life size replica of the pirate (always an amusing photo op); a replica of his ship, the Happy Adventure; and models of early sealing vessels (including the SS Vanguard, employed by John Munn & Co.).
