Our ‘Harbour Grace Room’ features rotating exhibits on a seasonal basis. Recent past exhibits have included features on the Harbour Grace Courthouse and the Volunteer Fire Department.

Currently, the room houses our anniversary exhibit, 150 Years of the Customs House, which tells the story of our building in the context of Conception Bay history and the larger architecture of global trade. The exhibit also relates the early founding of the Conception Bay Museum Association, incorporated in 1970 for the purposes of developing the region’s tourism potential.

A limited opening was held on November 3, 2020. The exhibit will run through the 2021 season.
