This is a photo of Horwood Lumber, located on the right side of Water Street, Harbour Grace, circa 1902. In reference to today, this is where the post office is now.

This is a photo of the Tannery, located on LeMarchant Street, Harbour Grace. Leather tanneries in Harbour Grace developed largely to supply the boot and shoe industry. Tanneries also made oiled clothing, but was better known for soap, dyes and paint.

This is a photograph of the old post office on Water Street, Harbour Grace. This building was destroyed by the Great Fire in 1944. This photo was taken at the bottom of Bannerman street, looking south
